For more than 28 years, I have offered a unique service to people Relocating to the area. Utilizing my background as a history teacher, I first provide an Historical Tour of the area bringing life to the present, past and future of the City. One client described it as my "encyclopedic knowledge" of the area! I also spend considerable time explaining and defining the "Kansas vs. Missouri" thing which is a mystery - even to those who have been here before as well as those who are here for the first time. I point out the differences and similarities between the two states in all kinds of areas including taxation, city services, schools, medical care, etc. This tour offers so much clarification and understanding of the residential areas and their development that my Clients get a clear real estate overview before we even start to look at homes. Most importantly, I adapt the tour and the overview to the needs and specific interests of each potential new resident.
